Here is a video of John's completed model. This original sculpture was used to make the original mould. The first stage was to cut the clay model into 7 parts - his head, 2 arms, his body, 2 legs and the base. Each part was then moulded separately and eventually, the separate casts could be joined back together to make a Fine Bone China figurine in perfect replica of John's original model.

The video above was simply recorded showing John working on the hat for Prince William. Originally he was to be shown holding his hat under his arm but John decided that his Royal figurine would look more important if he was shown wearing it.
