China Figurine Marks

China Figurine Marks :- Dear Sir/Madam,
I have 2 figurines which appear to be bud vases. One is a small child with a puppy taking off the childs shoe. The other is a young child with a bundle of fruit over the right shoulder. The "vases" appear to be tree trunks. The mark on the bottom of both is an O "or circle" with an N. These belonged to my mother. I am curious about the marks. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Elizabeth, Your figurines sound very interesting but it is very hard to give much feedback without seeing photographs. Would it be possible to send a good clear photo of the pair and also a view of the backstamp? This would greatly improve the chances of identifying them and being able to give you some further information.
