Coalport Glenda

Does anyone know the history of Glenda?
She is in a gorgeous lilac purple dress.
By John Bromley and got 2/89 stamped on it?

Hi Michael,
John has done so many figurines over the years that he cannot actually remember this one. Interestingly, it looks like a Royal Doulton one from the style of decoration. It might have been from the time that Coalport were following Doulton's style.

If I publish this, perhaps someone else may have more information for you.

Hi Tony
Glenda was issued as part of The Ladies of Fashion range between 1987-1990. Designed and sculpted by John Bromley. The 2/89 denotes your figure was produced in February 1989.
The figure was also issued in blue with the name of Adele and in green with the name of Melissa
