Figurine Update on Peter Holland's Latest Figurine

Welcome to this page where we give you Peter Holland's latest figurine update - an all round view of the beautiful original clay sculpture in streaming video.

The working title is 'Rose Garden'.

The inspiration for this piece was the beautiful full dresses of contemporary fashion designer Amelia Casablanca.

She has the genius to mix the full skirts and bodices of a romantic bygone era with a really lovely modern feel.

In the photo/video, this piece, sculpted in ceramic clay is just at the finishing stages, ready to go from Peter Holland's studio to the bone china factory in Hanley, Staffordshire.

It may be ready for production and sale by October this year (2009). Be sure you have filled in the figurine form here to be kept up-to-date on the progress of this sculpt and to get the chance to go on the waiting list for the lowest possible numbers. This will be a special low edition of around 795.
