German bisque china figurines - Could you help on this set?

German bisque china figurines : - Hello...
I am struggling with a pair of these figurines. As far as I have found out, they are Heubach.

They have been within the family for the last 70+ years, so I know roughly the age.

Can you shed some light on these? I tried to find out more on Google, but it seems there are no other ones like these about. Which would be nice.

I do not know much about Heubach, but I think they were a very old German firm that went out of business during the 1st world war. This would tie in with their age. They look like lovely examples.

There is a book that might help you called "Parlour Fancies: The Bisque Figurines of Gebruder Heubach," by Florence Theriault.

The early German bisque figurines have a special charm that has been copied in the Far East, but not bettered.
