Small, but important details - The symbolism of the rings
Prince William proposed to Catherine with his mother Diana's diamond and sapphire engagement ring. Asked why, he said: "It is very special to me and Kate is very special to me now as well. It is only right the two are put together."
John Bromley has based the whole pose of his figurine on the symbolism of the two rings - Kate's wedding band and her deeply meaningful engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.

"Wills and Kate" figurine
Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, the prince's private secretary, said the couple had chose the Abbey for its "staggering beauty", 1,000-year royal history and its feeling of intimacy despite its size. The Abbey made a fitting backdrop to the spectacle that was watched by millions around the world. However, no one watched more closely than John Bromley, as he scrutinized Kate Middleton's outfit in order to complete his lovely sculpture of her.
As soon as John has finished his work on his Kate Middleton figurine, his model will be whisked away to be moulded, thus ensuring that all collectors who secure a limited edition number of this small world-wide edition will get their new treasure as soon as possible.
