Liam Millar - Royal Worcester/Spode & Royal Doulton Prestige China Figurine Painter:- Hi Fellas, I just wanted to contact you to ask you if you could provide me with any information.

My name is Liam Millar. I am a ceramic artist with over thirty years experience in all aspects of ceramic painting and design.

My employer for the last eight years has been Royal Worcester/Spode and the previous twenty one were with Royal Doulton. Sadly, as you know my firm went into administration and the name only was bought out by Portmeirion Potteries.

My work experience has involved prestige figurine and face painting for Royal Doulton, painting and designing complex limited editions and one off pieces for Royal Worcester/Spode. I have also represented Royal Worcester/Spode several times in Japan.

I would be grateful for any information you could provide me with regarding ceramic companies that may be recruiting. I live in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent but would be willing to travel.

Yes, bad news about Royal Worcester / Spode and your many years of highly skilled training temporarily going to waste.

The good news is, I feel this is only temporary as you are being very pro-active in what you are doing.

First, you found our site and second, you had the great idea to post this thread.
