"ENGLISH Bone China Figurines - You Have Saved The Day!":- Dear Peter & the Figurine Collective team, I am absolutely thrilled that you have started up your own ENGLISH Company for making china figurines. I am sure there are a lot of people like me who don't wish to buy Asian figurines.....it seems a contradiction in terms.

I felt I was running out of time to purchase an English branded china figurine, I knew I had to get whatever I could, so that my last granddaughter, Eliza, wouldn't miss out.

So I am very excited that you have started up an English company!

I am honoured that you respect my opinion and was delighted to view your new website. I thoroughly enjoyed perusing it. I went straight to the Figurine Gallery and found it very easy to follow and to the point.

I like the way you show each model in clay and then painted as it depicts the intricacy of the figurine, and allows one's imagination to do the rest.

My husband and I both like YOUR first masterpiece "Rose Garden" and can imagine when it is coloured to be exquisite. I am sure you are very excited about this china figurine.

I do think "Rose Garden' is a true masterpiece, but somehow I need to have Eliza's name on it too. If there isn't enough room for Eliza to be written, I will just
order Rose Garden for myself instead of Garden Party.

And then wait till another figurine becomes available which will have the room for her name.

Many thanks for your kind words.

I have moved away from the famous big three Worcester, Doulton and Coalport precisely because of the points you make. I couldn't guarantee the English integrity of the bone china manufacture. The same goes for Compton and Woodhouse.

I feel strongly about this. What's right is right, and that's all there is to it.

At some point you have to distance yourself and make the right decisions. I am very grateful to have the full support of experienced and valued collectors such as yourself.

I believe together we can help to keep going the unbroken 259 year old thread of artistry and quality and save the day.
