Making China Figurines Comment "Rose Garden will be a sell out":- I have just opened the most beautiful English Bone China creation. A very fine sculpture in it's own right, but the finishing touches take it into the Heirloom quality.

The deep pink of the floral arrangement on her hat compliments the ice blue cabbage roses on her gown.

The hand painted shawl, swirls magnificently around her dress and the lace parasol completes the picture.

Delicate hand applied gold fretting to the embossed frill on the gown, and the touch of lustre will ensure that this piece will sell out in no time.

Your words mean everything to me and the team. This figure was made with so much love from everyone in the process - you would have to see it to really believe it. For all of us it is more than a job. Talking to Annette the painter and decoration artist is a joy - the way she looks at Tony Young's hand-painted first colour proto-type done in watercolour and then translates this into how to decorate this in fired bone china. The dedication and skill of Beverly the person who puts the piece together again once it is cast by Rob so skillfully. The skill in firing and glazing. I am privileged to be a part of and observe this beautiful process.

We were filmed making this first piece of mine for The UK Figurine Collective and we hope to make this film (shown at the Andrew Livingstone exhibition at the Tullie House Museum) available to view online.
