rosenthal Dachshund figurines query

Hello, I have some figurines my mom has asked me to try to sell for her. These were my grandmothers. I have sold things on EBay, but don't know what to do with this stuff! I know nothing about porcelain, etc...can you tell me if you buy items or would like to buy some things? My mom is now divorced, living in grandmas home that my great-grandfather built, but due to its size, she is now out of funds to pay for the property taxes and upkeep. So she is forced to sell off some things to keep the family home going. I have 2 dachshund figurines, Rosenthal, one is bigger than the other one..if you aren't interested, can you tell me how I should list them to get the best value from them? She has a huge set of Lennox china that I told her I won't even touch as I know nothing about these items. Please help if you can!!!
