Royal Adderley Woven Basket.

I have recently acquired a lovely white woven basket. Back Stamped Royal Adderley Floral Bone China Made in England.

The basket has two gold painted handles and is decorated with lovely flowers. I was wondering how I could get an appraisal of its value. Since I have not seen anything like this on any website or auction.

From your photographs, you seem to have a lovely Adderley china basket. It will be totally hand-made at their Longton, Stoke-on-Trent factory. The flowers are very good. I think that it is made by Adderley before they were taken over by Royal Doulton.

With regard to value - condition is paramount. It needs to be in perfect condition to hold its price. We don't give valuations here but Peter Holland has his own website where, for a small fee, you can get items valued. The address of Peter's site is
