'tis the season

Hi Peter, Just sharing a little incident which made me chuckle. Here in rural Ontario it is an inescapable fact that most everything shuts down or goes very slowly this time of year. Schools are mostly empty of young boys and sports are poorly attended. The reason? Hunting season! Porcelain restoration is no different.
I've just taken a phone call from a lady north of Kingston who finally found me and has four pieces she would like to get repaired but she won't be able to bring them over right away because her husband has the car and he is moose hunting. Sometimes I feel we "artistes" are a little removed from the hum drum world but I guess we are not!
You've heard about the theory of six degrees of separation that puts everyone in the world only six steps away from everyone else? Well, you are now only three steps away from a moose!
